England’s Mordant Music are in the process of completing their final two Travelogues and album with release dates to appear in due course. Begun in 2000, the label and artists behind it have provided hours of aural flickers which somehow managed to delight and disorient listeners on a world-wide level. At times, the work issued from this label courted the very edges of music but not once did it fail to engage and entertain those who listened. Speaking for myself, I can only say The Baron expanded my tastes considerably for which I’ll be forever grateful. IBM, you will be missed.
