Summarizing 2012 would be with the words: 4play, philosophy and cancellations.
What about books?
Normally I love to read, but this year all the spare time has gone to my studies and the reading have been rereading some books I really cherish, and the most important literary experiences of 2012 have been -Venus in Furs, Älskade du, and finally Tillit till dig (both by Swedish author Barbara Voors), and of course all the storytelling to our son.
What about music?
2012 was the year when I fell in love with all the creations of Mr Dirk Ivens after seeing him on stage with DIVE at the Out of Line weekender in March, and also as Sonar at the Wave Gotik Treffen in May. So the box from DIVE was an anticipated release. But a Swedish band called KENT is also something that is on repeat mode in our home. 2012 has also been a year of ORE and the creation of 4Play as well as the orgy which is about to follow.
What about visuals?
What can I say about this subject? We spend a lot on time watching TV series over very intense periods (like a whole season in a matter of days): An American Horror story, Dexter, Fringe, The Walking Dead, Supernatural, A Person of Interest, Game of Thrones, we watch them all! Filmwise has been a year of Maria Beatty combined with cinematic suggestions from abroad.
What about concerts?
Besides the fact that there was too much disappointment with cancellations all over autumn, we had a marvelous time at the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig with good friends. Poland was so very beautiful in Bolkow with castles, vodka, bowling and a fantastic atmosphere in the festival. Mother Russia (after last year’s
unexpected house arrest) finally became a reality in September. A very pleasant visit in every possible way, a fantastic time together with friends from Sweden that came along for the ride. And finally a really surreal video recording by Mr Vladimir Yepifantsev at his summer home outside of Moscow.
Summary
2012 was a dualistic year, filled with joy and marvelous moments but also a year of frustration and disappointment, and we are now ready to embrace 2013 and realize all that 2012 didn’t bring.

Co z książkami?
Uwielbiam czytać, ale cały wolny czas w poprzednim roku poświęciłam studiom stąd obcowanie z książkami ograniczyło sie do ponownego przeczytania kilku pozycji, które od zawsze wielbię. Najważniejsze doświadczenia literackie 2012 to: -Venus in Furs, Älskade du (szwedzkiej autorki Barbary Voors), and finally Tillit till dig (jw.). No i oczywiście wszelkie historie czytane naszemu synkowi.
A muzyka?
2012 był rokiem, w którym zakochałam się we wszystkich muzycznych kreacjach pana Dirka Ivensa po obejrzeniu go na scenie podczas koncertu Dive na Out Of Line w marcu oraz jako Sonar podczas WGT w maju. Dlatego box Dive był bardzo przeze mnie oczekiwaną pozycją. Ale i szwedzki zespół Kent często wpadał w opcję “repeat” w naszym domu. Był to też rok ORE, tworzenia “4Play” oraz orgii, która nastąpi.
Co z wizualiami?
Cóż moge powiedziec na ten temat? Spędzamy mnóstwo czasu oglądając seriale, czasem w bardzo intensywnej formie (np. cały sezon w przeciągu paru dni): An American Horror story, Dexter, Fringe, The Walking Dead, Supernatural, A Person of Interest, Game of Thrones, oglądamy wszystko! W kwestii filmów to rok Marii Beatty oraz filmowych sugestii z zagranicy.
Słowo o koncertach:
Poza tym, że spotkało nas dużo rozczarowań związanych z anulacjami koncertów jesienią, spędziliśmy z przyjaciółmi wspaniały czas na Wave Gotik Treffen w Lipsku. Także Polska okazała się bardzo piękna, Bolków z zamkami, wódką, kręglami i ogólną atmosferą festiwalu. Matuszka Rosja (po niespodziewanym areszcie domowym rok wcześniej) wreszcie stała się rzeczywistością we wrześniu. Bardzo miła wizyta w każdym jej aspekcie, wspaniały czas spędzony z przyjaciółmi ze Szwecji, którzy przyjechali z nami. No i na koniec prawdziwie surrealistyczne nagranie video Mr Vladimira Yepifantseva w jego letnim domku na obrzeżach Moskwy.
Podsumowanie:
2012 był rokiem dualizmu; pełen był radości i wspaniałych momentów, ale również frustracji i rozczarowania. teraz jesteśmy jednak gotowi na 2013 i na uświadomienie sobie czego rok 2012 nie przyniósł.
