If you were too worried about the present day of death metal genre, your questions have got an answer. This project with a technical strong frontal name comes from Canada and was formed only an year ago, in the great times of pandemia. They were very quickly recruited by Debemur Morti, a label that has always good tastes regarding music and French cuisine. The tape, released by Epidemia Records, is sold out, instead we have the CD containing 3 tracks lasting under 20 minutes, so that we have a demo to present the work of this young project.
Besides this informational introduction, the compositions find their way uncompromisingly to the blunt souls touching viscera with the arsenal of an elaborated and epic Death Metal in its original and ancestral form. As we are used by other fellow Canadians, Perilaxe Occlusion share an intellectual perspective tending more to challenge perception by juxtaposing a ferocious ambiance and a consuming text that defies logic and stimulates brain virulence. The band members adopt a style that could be defined as infra-geometrical in direct reference to the titles of the tracks. Likewise their music is masterly written and follows accurate lines of power that reach climaxes and defy patterns remaining all the more inspiring.
