How would you summarize this past year on artistic and personal level?
2013 has been a nice year for me as I was able to tour Australia, playing Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth. It was my first trip there and I enjoyed immensely meeting great people and a very attentive/curious audience. Other than those, I gigged the prestigious Philarmonie in Luxembourg, Borisan in Istanbul, Qwartz Awards Ceremony in Paris, Kuudes Linja Festival in Helsinki, George Enescu Festival in Bucarest and quite a few other venues worldwide, all in all I played 35 shows in 2013.
In terms of releases I feel proud three collabs of importance saw the light of day + 1 solo album:

What was the best cultural experience not related to music?
I visited quite a few amazing art galleries in those cities where I was lucky to perform…
And best trip? Most beautiful or magic place you visited this year?
My favourite has to be my holidays with the family in Roma in the Summer.
What was your greatest disappointment of 2013?
Witnessing the failure of Marseille Capital Of Culture + obviously experiencing the way racism and poverty are growing all over Europe.
Did you learn anyting particular this year?
Well I learnt many things, actually learning everyday and hope that it will go on as discovering new things is what makes life interesting
Plans, hopes, expectations for 2014?
I’m finalizing a few shows around Asia to happen end of FE/early March and already confirmed playing for a few nice festivals during the first quarter… Also eager to launching my collab with Edward Ka-Spel from Legendary Pink Dots as an album to appear on Rustblade in March. Then I’ll have some records out on Aagoo, Monotype, Alrealon Musique and Africantape… Thus as far as I’m involved I can only hope for things to keep evolving in the same way. Thank you.
